ATRI

After some time they were born to the rishi couple as Dattatreya, the Moon-god, and Rishi Durvasa.

Atri was a very great rishi.

Sri Rama, during his life in the forest, came to his ashrama to pay his respects to him.

The rishi’s wife, Anasuya, was a noble-minded woman.

The word Anasuya means ‘one without jealousy’. Anasuya loved Seeta as her own daughter.
