Talappoli and Bharani are the two major festivals, the temple conducts with great pomp and splendour every year Talappoli is famous for its colourful pageant, and lasts for 4 days, and it is akin to Pongal festival celebrated in Tamil Nadu and Andhra. The Bharani festival falling in the month of March-April  lasts for about a month and special prayers to MOTHER Kali is offered for the blessings of good rains to start their Agricultural operations. So lacs of people congregate, offer prayers and participate in this festival with full gusto. There is a novel tradition of carrying on the worship by brahmins and non brahmins as well.

It is a miss not time! A grand occasion!! And a soul lifting experience!!!
