THE MYSTERY OF TIME |
|
|
| Although time
in its entirety is imponde- rable and beyond human comprehension, it is, nevertheless,
self-evident that time is a reality and it is also here and now. No less obvious is
times quality of perpetual progression. Time never stands still. Time marches on
under all circumstances or, more precisely, independently of any circumstances.
Hence, it cannot be denied that among the unique and mystical characteristics of
time are inexhaustibility and mobility. Man would
have no fear of time had it been endowed only with the former and not the latter. What man
fears is the merciless mobility of time. There was never a year of 1967 before and there
will never be another 1967 hence. |
