THE GOOD HUSBAND

Besides being helpful, he is also thankful. He will never slight the work of his wife nor will be praise his wife insincerely or casually. He will not thoughtlessly leave his wife at home and go out to have a good  time for himself. There must be a good reason whenever he leaves home for a brief or a relatively extended period. He always wants to  come home early.

He avoids the not too uncommon attitude of some husbands who take things for granted and slight their  faithful wives with hardly a thought. He knows that nothing is more important for the happiness and harmony of the family than thoughtfulness and mutual considera- tion for one another in the daily  contact between husband and wife. Often serious displeasure springs from little things. Often, too, great joy begins with little things.
