THE CATEGORIZATION AND ANATOMY OF SELF-DISCIPLINE

A good life is impossible without self-discipline

First of all it can be said that self-discipline is for the adults and for the mature although not all, adults are mature nor all youngsters immature, for a person’s physical age is not necessarily parallel to his mental age. Although it is generally true  that children are kept in custody by adults,  criminals are restrained by authority, and the deranged con fined in institutions  because of their lack of the capacity for self-discipline, it is not equally true that all  adults as free men exercise self- discipline.

One can also observe that animals, which live by instinct, do not   possess the capacity of self-discipline, which is, indeed, a unique human trait. Yet,  not all human beings are interested to exercise and develop this unique human trait.
