| Few words are
as often used and abused as the word "fun", and no idea appears to be more
popular than the idea of fun in this mid-twentieth century. When people part, very often
the words "have fun, don't work too hard" are uttered. Even a diligent and
conscientious worker refers to his hard work with the expression " It's fun "
Children are told. " It's fun to study ". Little
wonder entertainment is no longer a matter for only special festivals, holidays or
weekends. There is entertainment any day, every day, even every hour. Comedies and
comedians are most popular. Anything for a laugh. It's fun! What's wrong with it!
Life is too short to be always burdened with care. Have fun, live a little, be good to
yourself! The pursuit of fun has become the goal of life. |
