of the Buddha Undecided:
Max Mueller had fixed the date of the
Vedas on the basis of the Ceylonese date of Buddha Nirvana which is
nearest to the present times. Many Indian scholars are accepting
those dates. But when there are so many dates of the Buddha current
in different countries and there is no unanimous decision about it,
the Indians need not take the dates given by Max Mueller as decided
Ones.
