Krishna said, "Bring the Akshaya Paatra," and Draupadi brought
it. Krishna searched the vessel. He found one particle of food left in the vessel.
At this Draupadi felt ashamed that she had
not even cleaned the vessel properly. Lord Krishna ate the particle of food saying
"Hari!"
He then said to Draupadi,"Now, send
word to the rishi that food is ready!"
"What do you mean?" asked
Draupadi,
"Do as I ask you to do, and send Bhima
to fetch the rishi," said Krishna.
Puzzled, Bhima went to call the rishi.
When, however, Bhima met the rishi, the
rishi said, "Our stomachs are so full that we cannot eat even a particle.
Please tell Yudhishthira so, and ask him to excuseus."
God Krishna, by eating the particle, had
satisfied the hunger of the rishi and his pupils!
God is in everyone of us.
