The Path Of Devotion Page4

In the present lesson you will read about what Krishna said to Arjuna on the easiest way of attaining Him.

Said Krishna, "It is easier to reach Me by worshipping Me with faith and devotion.

Leave everything to Me. Have faith in Me. Pray to Me with no other thought. I shall help such men to cross the ocean of life. Always work for Me and you will succeed. If you cannot do so, take refuge in Me unmindful of the fruits of all work.

"Knowledge is superior to practice; meditation is superior to knowledge; not minding the fruits of actions, is superior to knowledge, for from such unmindfulness peace comes."

"I like that man who hates none; who is friendly to all; who is compassionate; who is free from egoism and vanity; who feels the same way both in happiness and sorrow and who is forgiving." My favourite devotee is he, who is ever contented, self-restrained, firm in resolve and who always thinks of Me.
