MIRA BAI

[an error occurred while processing this directive]
They fixed up the Prince of Chitor Bhojraj as her bridegroom and celebrated the marriage with great pomp. Mira was only
eight years old at that time.

Mira took the Krishna idol to her husband's home.

At Chitor Mira lived as a dutiful wife and gave no room for complaint to her husband.

After finishing the household chores, during the day she went to the temple and sat before the Krishna idol singing and  dancing throughout the night.

The lovely idol would get up, play on the flute and dance with her! Mira felt extremely happy at those times.
