MIRA BAI

[an error occurred while processing this directive]
When she was about to throw herself in the water, Lord Krishna Himself pulled her from behind her. Seeing His smiling  face, she fainted.

When she recovered Krishna told her: "Your life with your mortal husband is now over. Now you are mine. See me in  Brindavan!" and disappeared.

Mira started her journey to Brindavan singing, "Gopala is my all" and dancing all the way, followed by a band of devotees.

While she was living in Brindavan, one day her husband Bhojraj came to her to beg her forgiveness. She agreed to return to Chitor with him.

Again at Chitor, she spent the nights in the temple in bhajans.
