SUGRIVA

Having done so, Sugriva was initially doubtful about the ability of Rama to overpower Vali.

Sensing it, Rama kicked a mountain of rakshasa bones with the tow of his leg, which fell miles away. He also pierced seven giant trees with just one arrow.

Sugriva now brought and showed Rama the bundle of jewels that Sita had thrown down while being carried away by Ravana.

Seeing them, Rama burst into tears.

Rama was now determined to kill Vali for his black act in carrying away his own brother’s wife.

He asked Sugriva to raise the war cry and challenge Vali to a fight. He did so.
