INDUS VALLEY CIVILISATION

There are singns of lamp-posts for lighting.

Trees and plants were grown in the enclosures.

There are evidences of large-scale trade and commerce from one end of the country to another.

Wheat and barley were cultivated.

The people were also meat and fish eaters.

The humped bull, buffalo, sheep,elephant, camel, pig, fowl, dog and horse were the domesticated animals and birds.

There are also remains of mongoose, rat, deer and toys of bison, rhino, tiger, monkey, bear and hare.

They used gold, silver, copper, tin and lead but did not know of iron.
