SAMARTHA RAMADAS

The Dasa Bodha is a large book of over seven thousand verses in two hundred chapters. It teaches one how to lead the
life of a Karma Yogi.It also gives directions for living the Bhakti and Gnana way of life. Manache Sloka treats of Bhakti and Gnana Yoga, while Atmarama treats only about Gnana Yoga. They are charged with the power of personal experience.

On the eve of the saint's passing away, the disciples felt orphaned. Seeing their condition the saint said, "I am not really
leaving you; my Dasa Bodha and Atmarama will remain in my place!"

At Sajjangad, where the saint passed away, stands his samadhi along with the large temple of Sri Rama built by Akka. Sajjangad has now become a place of pilgrimage. A Samartha Seva Mandali functions from there.
