| God was so pleased
with his devotion that he sent Vishnuchitta to the Pandyan king's court. There Vishnuchitta spoke of the greatness of the Lord before an
assembly. The king and the scholars present were greatly
impressed with his learning and devotion.
And the king loaded Vishnuchitta with rich presents.
God appeared before Vishnuchitta and blessed him.
From that day Vishnuchitta became more saintly than
before.
Devotion to God is known as Bhakti. It takes many forms.
One of them is to love God as a father loves his child; another
is to love God as a wife loves her husband etc. Vishnuchitta
loved God in the first manner. |
