THE MAHABHARATA

All of them loved and worshipped their mother Kunti. Kunti asked them to marry Draupadi, daughter of Kind Drupada. The Pandavas obeyed their mother.

The Kauravas wanted all the kingdom for themselves. So they cheated the Pandavas in a game of dice. They drove them out to a forest.

In the end the Pandavas and Kauravas fought against each other at Kurkshetra.

That was the Mahabharata war.

God was on the side of Pandavas, for they were gentle and just.

So the Pandavas won. The Kauravas lost.

Rishi Vyasa told the story of Pandavas and Kauravas in the Mahabharata.

Like the Ramayana, the Mahabharata is a great poem.
