Thy are holy places. People visit them.
The peaks of the Himalayas are covered with snow. They look white. 

Poets call these mountains the Crown of Bharata - Mata or Mother India. The great rishis of India did tapas on these mountains. 

Even now many holy men are there. The Himalayas remind us of our country’s greatness.
