Dushyanta. On seeing it Dushyanta remembered Sakuntala. He at once came to the ashram. He
took Sakuntala back with him. Their son was Bharata. As a child Bharata played
freely with lions-cubs. Later Bharata became a
learned and wise King. He ruled our country justly and well. So our country is named after
him. It is called Bharata - Varsha in Sanskrit means country.
